PCAT MOUNTED GAMES 2010
The 2010 PCAT Mounted Games were hosted by the Brighton & Southern Midlands Pony Club on behalf of Southern Zone on the 30th of May at their Mangalore Grounds. A great day was had by all and despite the cloudy day, the threatening rain did not eventuate. The grounds were in good condition, perfect for games.
The day was essentially incident free with only two participants being dismounted from their mounts, one being a rider in Division 2 and the other being the Official Starter!
In Division 1 Huntingfield Pony & Riding Club were clear winners with 16 out of 18 wins. This is the second year in a row that Huntingfield have won the championships. However, competition was very fierce for second and third places and was only determined by a tie breaker. This eventuated in Mersey Valley Pony Club being second and Circular Head third.
Lilydale Pony Club was first in Division 2, but again a tie breaker was needed to determine the next two positions. This resulted in Inglis Pony Club being second followed by the Tasmanian Pony Club. See below for download of the final result tallies.
